About us

Linzers was founded by Andrew and Susan Bell in 1984.

Its name is taken from Linzertorte, a rich, almond pastry tart filled with apricot compote, which originates in the town of Linz in Austria.

The company has grown steadily over the last 24 years. We are now a team of over 50 people. In 2006 we moved into our new bakery. We currently have two shops in Norwich, as well as the cake studio and the catering department.

Linzers is the largest independent bakery in Norfolk. It is a local company, which offers a consistently high standard of service to its customers.
